We produce high quality grass-fed Angus beef from animals born and raised in healthy conditions on our Hunter Valley farm. Emerald Hill beef is supplied directly to Sydney butchers who specialise in pasture-raised meat. We also make quarterly home deliveries to our friendly subscriber group.
Emerald Hill cattle live calmly in a familiar herd. They eat only the grass of our pastures, supplemented with hay when necessary – we do not feed grain or use growth hormones.
We have eaten beef from our own cattle with friends and family for over a decade, so we know that our herd and our farming practices produce consistently good beef. We want to be responsible for the care and quality of our cattle throughout their lives. We prefer to sell as few animals as possible into feedlots or the wholesale meat chain.
You can eat Emerald Hill beef with the confidence that you know where it came from and what it ate – and it tastes delicious too!
